Jay Z is one of the biggest names in the entertainment industry, and is known for being an innovator and trendsetter. It has been confirmed that Jay Z will team up with Ron Howard (director of "A Beautiful Mind") to film Jay's upcoming concert. The concert will be filmed by Howard, produced by Brian Grazer, and co-produced by Steve Stoute the founder and CEO of Translation.

The concert will be filmed on September 1st & 2nd and has an all star line up which features Drake, Janelle Monae, Miike Snow, Odd Future, Pearl Jam, Run DMC, Skrillex, and “The Boss” Rick Ross.

The title of the concert is “Jay Z’s Budweiser Made in America”. Howard will attempt to shine a light on the current state of American culture, versus it just being a film about different individual acts. Howard said in a statement: "This will not be a concert film; it's a reflection of the fabric of what it means to be Made in America -- what the festival represents, why Jay is doing it and how he relates to each artist".

The concert film will focus on Jay’s efforts to plan the event, and throughout will have stories about his own rise to the top. Jay along with Anheuser-Busch U.S. Marketing Vice President Paul Chibe will take on the executive producer role on the film.
