Being-Rome: Raven Symone Going Back to Disney Channel for a That’s So Raven Spinoff?

I was surfing the web last night and came across some news about Raven Symone leaving her co-hosting job on The View. Which in itself would be news enough for some I guess but it got even better when she announced that she would be leaving to work on a spinoff of That’s So Raven. You heard right, their will be a spinoff (No, not Cory In The House) of That’s So Raven.

Raven will reprise her role of Raven Baxter who if you remember was psychic, but will now be a divorced mom with two tweens (one of which has inherited her psychic ability). If Raven’s past adventures are any indications of what’s to come for this show then we can expect a lot of comedy and laughter. If that wasn’t enough Raven will also serve as executive producer to the yet to be titled show.

Disney Channel’s VP of Programming Adam Bonnett had this to say:  "Raven's brilliant style of fearless comedy was a driving force for Disney Channel's success around the world," he went on to say:  "Her performance in That's So Raven is timeless. We now have our eyes on the future with her, and we're looking forward to telling more stories for a new generation with an adult Raven Baxter raising her young family."

That’s So Raven ran on Disney Channel from 2003-2007, and is one of my favorites from my childhood that is getting a spinoff. Others include Girl Meets World (spinoff of Boy Meets World), and Fuller House (spinoff of Full House).
