Being-Rome: Tom Ford Wins Big

Congratulations are in order for Tom Ford. Over the weekend (November 6th) Mr. Ford was presented with the ‘Hollywood Breakthrough Director Award’ at the Hollywood Film Awards for his work on the film Nocturnal Animals. The fashion designer & director was presented with the award by Oscar award winning actress Julianne Moore. Moore also starred in Ford’s directorial film debut A Single Man that premiered in 2009.

A few days prior Mr. Ford received the ‘Film Innovator Award’ at the 2016 Wall Street Journal Innovator Awards.

So it would seem like Mr. Ford has been having luck both with fashion and film. The movie Nocturnal Animals will be in theaters this December. Again congratulations Mr. Ford!
