Being-Rome: Natasha Bedingfield - Wild Horses

Being-Rome: Natasha Bedingfield - Wild Horses

It’s Flashback Friday and I wanted to share with you a song from Natasha Bedingfield that I genuinely love. The song is called ‘Wild Horses’ and comes from her 2004 album ‘Unwritten’ (which coincidentally is the name of another song on the project that I like, lol). For me when it comes to music (at least ninety-eight percent of the time) it’s more so about the emotions that it stirs, the memories it evokes, and the lyrics. I think that’s why I was drawn to this song when I first heard it.

‘Wild Horses’ is just so pure, so raw, so… real. She’s saying the things that we have all thought at least one point and time. I mean who hasn’t want to live and let live? Not always live by playing it safe? Love freely, love without caution, love…” recklessly”. Instead most play it safe and choose a more boring / mundane situation. Not just in relationships, but in life as well for the most part. Why? Because we are scared…fearful of what might or might not happen. It’s always the What If’s and the pessimistic thinking that can keep us from some of the greatest things in life.

So, I say to you throw caution to the wind and run with the wild horses.

Thank You for taking out the time to read the article and listen to the song. It really means a lot to me, and I hope you enjoyed. If you did give it a share ðŸ˜‰, and while you're here check out some other posts on my blog. I really appreciate you stopping by, until next time.

Thanks again.

Sincerely,

Rome White
