Top 5 Men's Fragrances for Fall 2013

I was recently reading an article on Complex.com  about the best colognes to wear for Fall 2013. I was a bit surprised by some of the choices, but I was happy to see that my all time favorite fragrance made the list coming in at No. 4. Now I’m not much for changing my colognes for the seasons, but I will admit that I have come across a few fragrances that I do like (which will be featured in another article). For now though let’s get into the top 5 Fragrances dominating Fall 2013. 

No. 5: HUGO Red

This cologne has hints of cedar wood, grapefruit, hot amber, rhubarb, etc. The smells together create a fresh, sweet, and spicy scent. 

No. 4: YSL L’Homme

This is my all time favorite cologne. The scent is timeless and although very subtle it does garner the attention and affection of women. This cologne can be worn anytime day or night, and any season and still give off the effect of a great fragrance. 

No. 3: Odin 11 Semma

Odin is a unisex fragrance brand. The Odin 11 Semma is the second menswear fragrance. This fragrance has more of the masculine rugged scent with hints of cinnamon bark, herbaceous clove, sandalwood, sweet tobacco (didn't know tobacco could be sweet), and warm myrrh. 

No. 2: Burberry Brit Rhythm

The first man fragrance from Burberry in almost five years, and is based on Christopher Bailey’s love for music. Hints in this fragrance include basil, cardamom, cedar, incense, juniper, Tonka bean, and leather. What this has to do with music I don’t really know but should be an interesting smell at the very least. 

No. 1: Maison Martin Margiela Jazz Club

Good news does come to those who wait. The Maison Martin Margiela Replica capsule line has for the longest only produced women’s fragrances, but now (as of October 2013) the collection features its first men’s fragrance that has hints of: leather, rum, and tobacco. I haven’t really found too many stores that have the cologne on display yet so I have included the official link below for you to check it out there.
