Being-Rome: Rome White Top 5 Picks for Women's Leather Jackets

I’ve done (to date) two articles for men’s leather jackets, but none for the women. All that is about to change. I’ve decided that it would only be fair that I did a post for the ladies, because after all who switches it up more than the lady fashionistas? So again I went and searched through some of my favorite sites to shop from (Macy’s, Neiman Marcus, and Bloomingdales) and came across some rather eye catching pieces. From those pieces I narrowed it down to five pieces I believe were worthy of any fashionista.

If you’re new to my blog, first, welcome, secondly, I tend to surprise with some of my fashion choices. If you are someone who has followed my blog in the past you know that I don’t stick to the norm when it comes to most of my fashion choices and with these picks it wont be any different lol. I didn’t stick to the classic all black concept of a leather jacket for all of my picks, and some of the picks are… uniquely designed. So without any further ado here are my top picks for the 2016 Women’s Leather Jackets.

Michael Kors
$380.00
Classic black, sleek yet chic. This asymmetrical Leather Jacket from Michael Kors caught my eyes the minute I saw it and I knew it had to make the list. Other features include zip pockets at the hips and chest (you can never go wrong with having an extra pocket or two lol), notch collar, and its lightweight.

GUESS
$380.00
I think with this it reminded me of more of an autumn casual look. When you think of leather you think of the black leather or dark browns, this cognac is a nice change of pace. This Guess leather Moto jacket features a notch collar, asymmetrical front zipper; zip pockets on at the hips, and is lightweight.

Zac Posen
$1,790.00
The first thing that drew me to this was the multi-color look. I didn’t believe it was actually a leather jacket, so when I found out was it for sure had to make the list. This Zac Posen dip-dyed lambskin leather jacket features an asymmetric zipper; zippers at the shoulders and cuffs, notched collar, vertical zip front pockets (how COOL), and a fitted silhouette. One of the more unique pieces on my list for sure lol.

Giorgio Armani
$5,095.00
Okay I know this may sound a little weird, but when I saw this it made me think of one of my favorite movies I haven’t seen in ages The Fifth Element. It looks like a jacket that would have been worn in that movie by one of the lieutenants showcasing what they thought fashion would have been like in the future. This Giorgio Armani design is so subtle yet says so much. The design features lambskin leather, asymmetric two-way zipper, mandarin collar, snap detail at left shoulder, zip cuffs, angled zip pocket at the right chest, buckle detail at waist, and a fitted silhouette.

Maje
$1,140.00
I actually had to do a double take when I first saw this one. Who knew they still made jackets like this. This Maje Bocelui Leather Biker Jacket is really a hott biker jacket. I am actually amazed at the detail that was put into the pieces. Features on this lamb leather biker jacket include: notched collar, asymmetric zipper, zip cuffs, two-zip slit side pockets, and an attached buckle belt.

**(BONUS)**
Maximilian Furs
$2,9995.00
Wow. I mean Wow. I was looking up leather jackets and came across this. At first I didn’t know why this would even pop up in the search and after reading I saw why. It does feature “leather inserts” what a way to upsell lol. Additional features of this Maximilian Lamb Coat include: Envelope collar, and zip front closure.
