Rome White's Top 5 Picks from the Burberry Prorsum Autumn/Winter 2013 Menswear Show
I found some of the styles (or color choices) I liked from the Burberry show for the upcoming Autumn/Winter collection. I may have liked just a particular piece or I may have liked the complete ensemble. Take a look at my top five picks from the collection along with why I chose those particular looks.
I chose this look because of the red sweater. The Autumn/Winter season is more about the natural and earth tone colors (for the most part). This look shows that even during that time of the year you can still be fashionable and the pairing of the red sweater with the charcoal slacks really helps to make the red pop.
The trench coat is what made me add this look to my top five. I like the
beige trench coat with the medium sized buttons, and the straps and buckles
located on the collar and by the wrist on the coat it gives the look a bit of
distinction from more traditional trench coats. The pairing of the piece with
the traditionally colored Burberry scarf makes for a nice touch.
A nice charcoal suit paired with what appears to be a red sweater and white
button up, why wouldn’t this look make the list? What else is there to say you
have a charcoal suit with six buttons even placed (usually not a fan of a lot
of buttons, but this look is making me reconsider). The matching of the suit
with a bit of red really makes the suit pop.
I know what you’re thinking “Rome this look is the same look as the look
right before it, but with a different jacket”. To that I would have to say that
you are right. It is the same look but with a different jacket. Since these
looks are all Autumn/Winter inspired it made since to have some earthy tones in
my top five, so this look hits its mark in that regard.
